Your Scorpio is quite the cat! Unlike kitten-style energy, Scorpios have an attitude to go with their tireless ticker. Your Scorpio is involved in everything. Generally, these cats prefer the outdoors because of its limitless potential for exploration and enforcement of their rule, but they can adapt to being house cats. They’ll just want some time in the yard now and again. When we say that Scorpios like to enforce their attitudes, we don’t mean that they cause trouble with other cats. (Well, not too often anyway.) A Scorpio, simply by virtue of being so strong-willed, draws other animals into its wake. It will likely try the same trick on you.
Scorpios like their food, water, and schedule to be maintained without much variation. They will go to great lengths—anything from rubbing up against your leg to scratching it—in order to enforce that. This does not mean that they are heartless control freaks, though; Scorpios are so intense because they have a very large heart. Even if the food has run low, when your Scorpio senses that you are feeling a little low yourself, the first priority will be to climb into your lap and make everything better. Food can wait when there is a hurting soul.
That same emotional intuition applies occasionally to other pets. Your Scorpio will not like it if you show preference to another animal, but other than that will maintain generally congenial relationships. Cancers and Pisces are the most compatible. Exceptions will be made for pets that are edible (you’ll want to keep a close eye on those), but unless your cats, dogs, or other pets actually have the audacity to stand up to a Scorpio, it will treat them with general pleasantness.
Your Scorpio’s extroverted attitude will drive it to immediately investigate all newcomers. Any human that shows it any sort of attention is immediately eligible for domination. Your Scorpio will permit petting and sociability with the understanding that if it needs to be fed and you are unavailable, the newcomers will not only know where the food is, but they will also have the capacity to withstand a few swipes from bare claws if they move too slowly.
Your Scorpio will not like it if you show more attention to human visitors. It won’t always come clawing, but that must be remembered as a frequent possibility. Often, though, rather than rebel, a Scorpio will simply slink off to one of its hiding places around the home or yard. It is at these times that your cat will be very slow to obey, and will likely get into the very things that you have specifically forbidden, just to spite you. The secret to your cat, then, is to stay in its good books. Scorpio is an intense animal.
Above any sort of petty tendencies one way or another, your Scorpio will always be a very strong-willed and capable pet. Scorpios impress visitors and inspire devotion. They are never boring and are always willing to join you for almost anything you do. Scorpios are powerful and focused, but they are still pets. You never have to fear anything too wild; rather, the occasional drift away from the domestic just spices up your appreciation of this fantastic feline.
